The Batman

I've been meaning to illustrate Batman for a while. A long while. However, I wanted the piece to reach a level of finish that was worthy of the iconic hero. I couldn't just do a sketch of him and be satisfied. I already painted Superman, a project which I am still happy with, so if I was to paint the Bat, I would have to pull out the stops...

TL;DR version:
Was in a slump, ditched facebook, my girlfriend lit a fire up under my ass, I got back on the boat, and used both Zbrush and Photoshop to complete a painting of Batman that I feel is worthy of the namesake. This is mostly a painting with occasional use of Zbrush and Keyshot to help me understand some of the forms a little better.
